Republican’s “Big Tent”: A Flawed Philosophy
People claiming to be “conservative” like to champion the value of Reagan’s concept of the “Big Tent”, welcoming everyone into the party to win the vote. Let’s examine this “value” by looking through history since value can only be established by grading results.
The concept of a “big tent” gave us our first president to publicly proclaim the desirability of the New World Order. That was a “Big Tent Republican”. It gave us yet another Big Tent Republican that ignored all the warnings ushering in 9-11, the intentionally misnamed “Patriot Act” which stripped Americans of their Constitutional rights at an unprecedented level, and the longest war in the history of our country. But wait, there’s more! I encourage you to study the voting records of Paul Ryan, Newt Gingrich, John Boehner, Liz Cheney, Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy and yes, our own Senator, Steve Daines, just to mention a few members of this “Big Tent.”
Why Senator Daines? On May 16th, Senator Daines joined Democrat Tester and voted to send $41 billion in 100% financed debt, of taxpayer money to support the Nazi fighters in Ukraine, proving that the decades-old money laundering system, known as Ukraine, is still working.
If you doubt these claims, start your research by reading about how Democrats wanted to designate the Azov Battalion as a terrorist group in 2019, prior to the conflict in Ukraine. Follow up your reading by researching all the uniform insignias of the Nazi organizations from World War II. You will find many photos of Ukraine fighters, including Ukraine’s President, displaying these same insignias. The Black Sun seems to be predominant. It is a favorite of today’s Nazis, Neo-Nazis, and Satanists. Ignorance is a curable affliction, yet it is an acceptable excuse for only so long.
As a conservative, do you look around and ask, “How did we get into this mess?” The big tent philosophy is much to blame.
This ideal requires the sacrifice of truth, facts, and principle in order to fill the tent. “Requires?” you say? Absolutely, yes! If you are steadfast and not willing to compromise on truth, principles, and facts, you will surely offend someone, thereby undermining your ability to fill the “tent”.
Unfortunately, this strategy is not isolated to politics. You can see this philosophy at work in Christian churches, as well. Here, too, the ambition of “growing the tent” and expanding the resources of the organization brings with it the fear of offending, resulting in the Truth being compromised.
“So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”
Revelation 3:16
To continue down this road to ruin for America is simple. Just keep electing professional Politicians who want to “grow the Tent”. Your heritage will curse you for it.
To stop this slide down the slippery slope, vote for people of principle who are willing to stand firm, espousing their beliefs, unafraid of offending someone. This type of individual is a rare commodity in today’s political world. They will be someone with a fire in their belly to stop the degradation of America. Willing to put their life on hold for a while to stand for you in front of the onslaught.
I believe that nobody these days would criticize the US decision to partner with Stalin in the war against Hitler. Senator Daines may have had the same considerations when he voted for sending financial aid to Ukraine. Yet, it was the wrong decision. It was bad for many reasons, but the main one is that Republicans must finally recognize the fact that Democrats fully transitioned into the party of Neo-Marxists, and any bipartisan bill that is supported by Dems’ leadership is anti-American.Montana is fortunate to have Matt Rosendale. Not only does he understands that cooperation with Neo-Marxists serves the totalitarian interests of global elites and hurts Americans, but he also is one of the very few Republicans who are not afraid to stand up against Neo-Marxists.Matt Rosendale is not enough. The suggestion to “vote for people of principle who are willing to stand firm” is good, but we already had our primaries. Currently, our choices are between sending Ryan Zinke to join Matt or letting the lawyer from Missoula enforce more Neo-Marxist policies. In my opinion, this means that it’s time for Montana conservatives to start educating our elected Republicans. We must make them understand that we expect them to be more like Matt Rosendale and Ron Desantis and never again be like Romney or Liz Cheney.
