If people showed up in thousands to confront these thieves, I wonder what would change? This is the definition of taxation without representation. And notice they hold these meetings during working hours of the majority of people. This is by design.

The power to tax is the power to destroy. If the property you call your own can be taxed according to a law code, then it is not truly yours and can be taken away from you against your will…simply on the “evidence” that you did not pay what was demanded. Taxation is theft. It is also extortion. The only difference between this and the theft and extortion imposed by a local street gang is that one is legal and the other is in competition with it. However, just because it is legal does not make it right. Pay up or else.
